ABOUT ME
Being a Dental Laboratory Technician is a lot like being a sculptor. However, unlike a sculptor, whose job is strictly aesthetic, Agata’s artistic sculpting makes a big difference in people’s lives. She designs and fabricates various types of dentures for patients and dental practices all over London.
Agata’s journey with dentistry started in 2000 when she enrolled in Dental Technology College. She completed the study as a Dental Technician in 2003. She was new to the field when she first started working for Denture Direct. But since then she has come a long way and she feels she has grown exponentially while expertly sharpening her skills. Her next job was at prestigious Harley Street Harcourt House Dental Studio. Working with the top class dentists and technicians,as well as being given opportunity to attend seminars and courses, ensured her continuous improvement. Throughout her career she has become involved in both the clinical and technical area of dentistry.
Agata reminiscences: “At the very beginning, being a dental technician was simply a job,but it has soon become my passion as its artistic aspect had a strong appeal to my artistic soul.” Moreover, she discovered that by doing her job, she was not only making beautiful, flawless dentures, but she was also helping many people to literally put smile on their faces. She feel blessed she has found a career she love and enjoys. ”Getting up every day and going to work is pure bliss”- she says.
In year 2014 she set up her own Lab. Warda Dental Laboratory in Waltham Cross. When it concerns her patients, she is with them the entire journey: from the day they set foot in her office, unhappy with the look of their smile or because they are unable to eat, to the moment their faces light up with broad white smile, after they see themselves in the mirror, with the custom constructed denture that perfectly fit their needs.
She believes that passion encompasses a lot : “ It’s passion that drives you and makes you want to be your best that is contagious and spreads to others. It’s passion that motivates you to keep learning and continuously better yourself. The love of profession and people is yet another aspect of passion.”
Agata says : “The number one driving force that keeps me going is my belief that everyone is entitled to have a beautiful smile. Smile change lives. Sometimes, smile is the only thing we can to give to another person, and what a difference it can make.”
